ABOUT THE PROJECT

Granite Wings II is a history book, documenting the 25 years of the New Hampshire Air National Guard, from 1998 to 2022. 

 

From ice storms and floods to the Global War on Terrorism.  Through the decades of conflict and into the era of the KC-46 Pegasus as well as the unprecedented response to the COVID-19 Pandemic... The New Hampshire Air National Guard, through its units and people, etched its story in the granite tablets of their time.

This book is a testament to the dedication, accomplishments, blood, sweat, and tears that made that history real to the people who lived it.  Ultimately, this project is for those Airmen and posterity so the stories of this time may not be forgotten.
